Energy for a different moment

A Battery Energy Storage System stores electrical energy and delivers it later. Paired with solar, it can move some daytime generation into the evening. It can also be charged from the grid where the system design allows.

A system, not just a battery

A working storage installation combines batteries, power conversion, controls and electrical protection. It must be integrated with the loads and available supply. Backup operation requires a suitable electrical arrangement; adding a battery does not automatically make every circuit available during an outage.

Power, capacity and purpose

Power rating and usable energy capacity are different. The required output depends on the loads running together, while the required stored energy depends on how long they must run. Temperature, battery operating limits and conversion losses also affect practical performance.

Storage may support backup, load management or renewable integration. Peak shaving and tariff-based energy shifting depend on the controls, tariff and connection arrangement. Define the purpose before choosing equipment.
